Recount: Immersion Rotation
WALT: structure a recount using detailed and descriptive language.
When people read this recount they should feel interested and excited. This week we have been finding out all our new topic for the term and you are going to write a recount about the immersion rotation we did on Monday. Complete the planning section below before you start writing your recount.
Room 6 | What we did in room 6 was music and emotions with Miss Tuia so what we did was we had to think of a song that matches the emotions with what types of song |
Room 7 | In room 7 we played a fun game called bus stop with Mrs Parent and freeze frame . What we did was there were some photos of the kids and we had to write about what emotions they did . |
Room 8 | In room 8 we did a fun game called the emotion train with Mr Hughes. We had to line up and we had to come up with a walk and act it out. It was so much fun . |
Room 9 | In room 9 we did he said she said it was not that hard we need to do was pick and word and sing or say it like a funny way of saying it |
Room 10 | Lucky last room 10 with Mrs Tumahai what we were colour so we had to take a photo of ourselves and put in our google slides . We had to match the colour for example yellow happy or red for mad . |

→ First day of term 2 it was awesome to see all my friends and all the teachers . After assembly we had a team 4 rotations it was very fun , first class we had was room 7 with Miss Parrant and what we did in room 7 was bus stop freeze frame ,and so we went in 4 groups and we had to go to a table and what was on the table was a paper and it had a photo of some kids with emoticons for example if i was mad then we have to write mad and .
We went to room 6 with Miss Tuia and what she did was emoticons and music and it was so much fun to have to go around and go to different classrooms and enjoy what they had done for us.
After all of the classrooms we had room 8 with Mr Hughes and his one was an emoticon train , So we had to play a game with Mr Hughes and we had to get in a line and the front person had to do a move and we had to copy them .
Then we had room 9 and 10 . So let start with room 9 with Mrs Sio and what she did was he said and she said it was not hard cause we had to record ourselves and say up the wahs in a baby voice or sing it and other stuff . Finally and lucky las room 10 wit Miss Tumahai and what he did was Colour and it was super easy cause you had to take a photo of yourself and explain what emotions and what kinda a move you would do it you were mad or happy and sad like that so all the rotations were all easy and easy to finish so yea .
